'Poldark' Season 3 spoilers: Ross, George Continues Rivalry Next Season
Fans should expect to see a lot of drama in the first episode of "Poldark" season 3 will finally come to PBS.
In the previous season of the TV drama based on Winston Graham's novels of the same title, Elizabeth Chynoweth (Heida Reed) opted to marry George Warleggan (Jack Farthing). This infuriated Captain Ross Poldark (Aidan Turner) which led him to force himself to Elizabeth after she announced her engagement.
At the end of season 2, Elizabeth informed her new husband that she is pregnant. This caused speculation that the baby's father could be Poldark, but the suspicions will continue at the beginning of season 3 since the timing of Elizabeth's childbirth can be considered questionable.
Reports also claim that the rivalry between George and Poldark will continue when the British series returns on air this week. But the two is expected to come up with an agreement between each other by the end of the episode.
On the other hand, spoilers claimed that Demelza (Eleanor Tomlinson) will be reunited with her brothers Drake (Harry Richardson) and Sam Carne (Tom York) at the start of the season. But the two will reportedly visit her for a particular reason and Drake and Sam will reportedly be accommodated by Ross upon their arrival.
The premiere episode will also introduce another new character named Morwenna Chenowyth (Ellise Chappell), who happens to be Elizabeth's cousin. She will be hired by George to work as a governess for Geoffrey Charles (Harry Marcus). Yet it seems like she will portray a bigger role for the rest of the season.
The third season of "Poldark" already aired all of its nine episodes on BBC One from June to August this year, but the show will premiere in the US shores through PBS Masterpiece on Sunday, Oct. 1, at 9 p.m. EDT.
