Anthony Weiner Should Resign Over Lies, Says Porn Star
NEW YORK – Former porn star Ginger Lee spoke at a press conference in Manhattan Wednesday about her relationship with New York Congressman Anthony Weiner, saying he told her to lie about their communications.
"I did not sext Anthony Weiner," Lee, speaking for the first time since the scandal broke, said in her statement. "I did not send photos to him or receive photos from him. Any time he would take conversations in a sexual direction, I would not reciprocate."
“When the scandal broke and people started e-mailing me, I did not know what to do. So I e-mailed Anthony Weiner. He asked me to lie about our communication."

Standing beside her attorney, Gloria Allred, Lee told reporters that Weiner also called her on June 2, as the scandal was escalating, to coach her on what to do next.
"He called me and told me what to say and do and how to deal with the mounting pressure from the press and how to handle it," said Lee. "Therefore, I did what he told me to do. I stayed in the house, avoided cameras and photographers, and hoped that the scandal would die on Monday but it did not."
"I knew I couldn't lie for him but I didn't want to be the one to kick him under the bus," she said.
Lee, a "featured dancer," is one of the six women with whom 46-year-old Weiner has confessed to exchanging explicit messages online.
During the news conference, Allred read several e-mails that Weiner sent to Lee, including, "Alright, my package and I are not going to beg. We both see the hazard of going down the path of comparative sexiness."
The Democratic congressman wrote in another, "You aren't giving my package due credit."
Allred said Weiner first contacted Lee in March and the communication between the pair ended a few weeks ago. Most of the e-mails were not about sex and the two never exchanged photos online, noted Lee's laywer.
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and other Democrats have called on Weiner to resign in light of his Twitter scandal. Weiner recently admitted to sending lewd photos to one of his online contacts. President Barack Obama said that he would resign if he were Weiner.
Lee came to the same conclusion.
"I think that Anthony Weiner should resign, because he lied to the public and the press for more than a week," Lee asserted in her statement.
"It might have never turned into this if he told the truth but he kept lying. If he lied about this, I can't have much faith in him about anything else."
Allred told reporters that Lee decided to "break her silence" and "come out of hiding" because the scandal has prevented her from going to work and paying her bills. Lee contacted Allred after Weiner allegedly threatened to release a statement without her authorization.
Following Wednesday's statement, Lee will be returning to work as a dancer at a club, according to her lawyer. The name of the club was not released.
