Portugal vs France: Watch International Friendly, Live Stream, Start Time, Preview
Only Portugal are part of the European Cup qualification.
Portugal battle France in an international friendly at the Estadio Jose Alvalade in Lisbon.
The match is on September 4, 2015 at 3:45 PM ET.
Only Portugal are involved in the European Cup qualifiers and things are going particularly well for them, winning four out of their five matches in the competition to find themselves on top of Group I.
Meanwhile, France are not taking part as they automatically qualify in the competition as they are hosts of the 2016 UEFA Euros. At the moment, they are only taking part in exhibition games to keep them match fit.
Unfortunately for the Frenchmen, they have only won once in their last four matches.
Their lone win was a 2-0 victory over Denmark, but France have lost games to Brazil, Belgium and Albania.
France still have a capable squad with players like Karim Benzema, Antoine Griezmann, Anthony Martial in their strikeforce, while Paul Pogba, Yohan Cabaye and Morgan Schneiderlin are big guns in the midfield.
However, they have to find the right chemistry among the players in order to translate their talent into victories.
On the other hand, Portugal are enjoying their good form as of late, winning six of their last seven matches across all competitions.
They have wins over Italy and Argentina in friendlies, while their only loss was a surprise 2-0 defeat to Cape Verde Islands.
Like the French, they have a strong squad and their best player is undoubtedly Cristiano Ronaldo of Real Madrid.
Arguably one of the best players to ever step foot on a pitch, Ronaldo can change the momentum of a game quickly with his pace and excellent movement.
Along with players like Nani, Joao Moutinho and Ricardo Quaresma, the Portuguese squad are a real threat.
