'Power Rangers' 2017 Movie Reboot: Will Zords be Included in the Film? Release Date, Cast and Spoilers
Ever since its reboot announcement, the excitement from Power Rangers fans continue to rise as updates about the upcoming movie reboot is starting to be released. This time, speculations are again starting to grow like the inclusion of Zords in the movie.
Many critics believe that Zords are somewhat an essential part of the show and fans are looking forward to seeing them. In the former series of Power Rangers, many of us have been really amazed with the union of each ranger's robot while they transform into a giant powerful megazord. The transformation is probably what fans are going to look up to.
It has been reported that hints are being given regarding the inclusion of the Zords in the film. Actress Naomi Scott, who will play the role of Kimberly or Pink Ranger, has claimed that she wants her Zord to be a bird, and the only zord that could fly.

The Power Ranger movie is all about five ordinary teenagers who were chosen to be protecting the world from the destructions of Rita Repulsa. Aside from protecting the world, they will also have to deal with other concerning factors in their personal lives.
The cast will be played by Dacre Montgomery as Jason Lee Scott or The Red Ranger; Becky G as Trini / The Yellow Ranger; RJ Cyler as Billy or The Blue Ranger; Naomi Scott as Kimberly or The Pink Ranger; Ludi Lin as Zack or The Black Ranger; Elizabeth Banks as Rita Repulsa; Bryan Cranston as Zordon, and David Denman as Jason's father, Sam Scott.
Talking about the version of the movie, it is expected that the fil, will no longer appear as childish as its 1993 TV show counterpart. Actor Bryan Cranston said in an interview that the tone has been completely changed. "They have completely changed the tone. It is not the television series at all. It's a fully realized, updated, reimagined approach to telling this superhero story," he said.
Release Date
The film is under the direction of Director Dean Israelite. While the filming of the movie began on February 29 this year, the movie is set to be released next year, March 24, 2017. It was originally scheduled on July 22, 2016 but later was delayed by Lionsgate.
