'Power Rangers' Movie Features Former Green Ranger Who Continues to Highlight Faith in Jesus
The newest "Power Rangers" movie had a successful opening weekend at the box office and featured some of the former Power Rangers cast, including Green/White ranger Jason David Frank, who is an outspoken Christian.
Despite facing backlash for alluding to a gay reference, the "Power Rangers" movie brought in an impressive $40.5 million at the box office this past weekend. Viewers also experienced a nostalgic moment while watching the movie when they brought back some of the old cast from the 1990s classic action series.
Frank, best known for his roles as Tommy, the Green and White Ranger, was one of the older cast members featured. When off the screen, Frank is now a champion mixed martial artist and karate teacher who does not shy away from sharing his faith.

In an interview with CBN a few years ago, Frank mentioned that he expected to make a cameo in the Power Rangers film and also shared his coming to faith moment.
Now branded with a huge "Jesus didn't tap" tattoo on his forearm, Frank said his journey with Christ started after the death of his older brother, Erik Ray Frank.
Erik, known as the character David Trueheart in the"Power Rangers" series alongside his brother, died in 2001 just months before his 30th birthday.
"I didn't really understand what the whole church thing was about," Frank told CBN. "Then, when I lost my brother it was like people were telling me I need God and all that stuff, and I was like, 'If one more person tells me that, then that is what it is.'"
It was his wife who invited him to church and he soon found a place to call home at Crosby Church in Texas. He was intrigued by the pastor, Keenan Smith, who drew people to his services with Team Impact, a group of traveling professional athletes who performed unbelievable tasks.
"I'm from Los Angeles, so this church is like cowboy boots. Pastor Keenan is breaking things and I was instantly attracted to him," Frank said of his initial church reaction. "I was like yeah, this guy. We sparred. We wrestled. And he used that to attract people to church."
Today, the beloved Green Ranger uses his social media network to inspire and attract people to a relationship with Christ.
"I reach five million people in a week through Facebook and Instagram, and I am just blessed to do that," he stated.
That's not all, however. The 43-year-old is also the first to launch an MMA Christian clothing line called "Jesus Didn't Tap," which is a play on the word tap out, popularly known in wrestling or MMA, which signifies giving up.
The man behind the mask now also runs his own vlog called "My Morphing Life" in which he showcases his full experience at the "Power Rangers" premiere.
