Presbyterian Youth Gather at Purdue University for 8th Triennium Celebration

Some 6,000 Presbyterians from across the nation gathered at Purdue University for the 2004 Presbyterian Youth Triennium, from July 20 to July 25. The Triennium has traditionally been held at Purdue since 1983 when the Presbyterian Church (USA) reformed.

This year’s event centered around the theme from Ephesians 2:14-19 “No Longer Strangers,” a theme that was inspired during the aftermath of the September 11 attacks three years ago.

The Presbyterian youth aged 15-19 came from the PC(USA), Cumberland Presbyterian Church and Cumberland Presbyterian Church in America.
