Donald Trump Golf: How Many Times has Trump Played Golf Since Becoming President?

President Donald Trump on His 13th Golf Course Visit in the Weekend; Angers Critics

United States' President Donald Trump is arguably one of the most controversial world leaders today for a variety of reasons. While he draws flak left and right from his many critics, people are wondering if he's still able to find time to have some rest and relaxation.

Apparently, he can still squeeze some leisure time into his schedule. According to CNN, the President is already on his 13th golf game since he assumed office, and it has been the eighth consecutive weekend that he spent playing in vast courses which were named after him.

According to some White House officials, Trump has been holding meetings at his property in Sterling, Virginia, which is just outside Washington. It is unconfirmed, however, with whom he has met with and how many they were, only that it was about presidential business.

His press secretary, Sean Spicer, was quick to defend Trump's habit of visiting his golf courses. He pointed out that it was merely a way to somehow ease tension while talking about matters related to international relations, citing Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's visit to the country.

While this was all fine and dandy, and everyone is entitled to some time for recreation every now and then, this hobby of his has drawn the criticism of many detractors. Josh Billinson of the Independent Journal tweeted a photo, showing Trump was dressed for a game and not for work when it was initially publicized he was working during the weekend.

This immediately commanded a barrage of comments, showing dismay at how Trump is appearing rather lazy and may only be promoting his properties for his personal gain. Some even posted a screenshot of his tweets airing his own criticisms about former president Barrack Obama playing golf, making him look like a hypocrite.

There are currently no responses to the criticisms thrown at the current president, and that will be something to wait for.
