Prince George 'Growing Very Fast,' Duchess Kate Says
Prince George is reportedly doing quite well at his new home in Kensington Palace, according to his mother, Duchess Kate Middleton. The Duchess gave the crowd an update on the newest royal as she and husband Prince William made an appearance at a charity event.
The baby is "growing very fast," Aaron Russell-Andrews said the Duchess told him at the event for Only Connect, which helps ex-convicts get back on their feet after serving their time. Russell-Andrews presented the Duchess with a vest made for the little prince. Unfortunately, his own daughter, aged 20 months, tried to intercede and keep the vest for herself.
"They are very demanding at this age," the Duchess joked. It's not clear whether she was referring to her own son or Russell-Andrews' daughter. Nevertheless, the parents had something in common during their exchange.

The Prince and Duchess then moved on to meet volunteers working with the program to help teach life skills and reintegrate former convicts back into society.
"Are you guys sewing on buttons?" Middleton asked. "It looks like very fiddly work."
"She was saying she's not very good at it because when she tries sewing, the needle normally gets caught on the pin and breaks," Claudia Calvert, the workroom manager said that Middleton told her.
The organization is near and dear to the royal family, especially on William's side. His aunt, Lady Jane Fellowes is a trustee of the charity and was very pleased that her nephew and niece-in-law would make the effort to stop by and show their support.
"I was delighted that William and Catherine have had the opportunity to see the work of Only Connect, a charity that I have been supporting for many years," Fellowes said.
It's been one of the few joint appearances that the royal duo has made since the birth of Prince George, who remained at home in the care of his nannies.
