Prince George Photo Shows Relaxed Royal Family (PHOTO)
The newest photo of Prince George and his parents show a completely different side to the royal family – a relaxed, happy, and natural side rarely seen by the public. The heir to the British throne is now a happy and healthy 8 months old and is quickly growing, according to his parents.
During a public appearance just last week, it was revealed that the little prince is now crawling and on the move. However, George decided to make his move while his parents were away on vacation in the Maldives.
"William and Kate are excited about the many milestones ahead," a palace insider told Us Weekly at the time. "George has a tiny tooth coming in, and his cheeks are chubbier than ever!"
The public got to see those cheeks firsthand in a new official photograph released by Kate and William. In it, one feels as if he or she is glancing into a personal moment in the royals' lives, with William holding dog Lupo, and Kate holding George, who is looking directly at Lupo. The family is perched in a window at their residence in Kensington Palace and is the first photo released since George's christening.
Kate and William will likely release another photograph of baby George next month, when they are visiting New Zealand and Australia. It will be his first public event since the christening, which has many very excited about seeing more of the youngest royal. Kate and William wanted to bring their son, given his young age and the three-week-long tour that would have kept them apart from George. It's a new tradition in the royal family, one that the public is glad to see changing.
Prince William was the first to make headlines as an infant, when he traveled to Australia with his parents, Princess Diana and Prince Charles. It was the first time an heir had been allowed to travel with another heir on a trip abroad.
