Meghan Markle Shuts Down Blog Months Into Dating Prince Harry

Meghan Markle is closing down her online blog, "The Tig," after three years of writing tips and advice for online readers. Could this be another signal that the "Suits" actress is going to be more private now that she could be getting ready to join the extended royal clan?

Followers of her blog will find the last message that Meghan Markle has left for her readers as she shuts down her online site. "The Tig" has been Markle's outlet as she offered lifestyle tips and other kinds of advice for three years. Unfortunately for fans who would like to go over her previous posts, the links to the posts archives, and any other navigation for that matter, are now missing from the blog site.

The "Suits" star also announced the end of her blogging days on the official Twitter account of "The Tig." As a farewell message, the photo for the Instagram post read: "Goodbyes are not Forever. Goodbyes are not the end. They simply mean I'll miss you, until we meet again!" Underneath is signed "The Tig." In the accompanying caption, Markle thanked her fans and recommended the site Alt Found. "We will miss you, but we happily pass the baton to our dear friend @janina who is changing the game in the digital space with her site @altfound," Markle noted.

The Sun noted how Meghan Markle's blog had "attracted feverish attention" since she began dating Prince Harry about nine months ago. While it might be possible that she is concerned about her privacy, a source told ET that the move is brought about by Markle's busy schedule. The source, who is claimed to be close to Markle, suggested that running the site had taken too much of the latter's time aside from her full-time job as a "Suits" star.

The source further added that Markle wants to be able to have more time for her philanthropy work, and will continue to volunteer with agencies including One Young World, World Vision and UN Women.

Meanwhile, Meghan Markle remains active on social media for her fans.
