Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Rumors: Why the Couple Are Allowed to Hold Hands; Actress Possibly Leaving 'Suits'?
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been spotted together out and about multiple times as they continue to show their love to the world.
For their first public appearance as a couple, the two watched the Invictus Games in Toronto last month. The two were seen at the event holding hands, which is a no-no in the Royal Family.
Public display of affection, while not banned, is not encouraged as a way of following the example of the Queen, who hardly ever held Prince Philip's hand during their public appearances.
This is also the reason Prince William and Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton are never seen getting cosy with each other when out and about.
However, this is not the case for Prince Harry and Markle. There is a reason for that, as per News.com.au, who explained that the royal rules such as no public display of affection (PDA) only applies when a member of the Royal Family is on official business.
When Prince Harry and Markle watched the Invictus Games, he did so when he is not "at work" or at least done with it as he opened the games and met with officials.
After completing his business there, he chose to spend his off duty time with his girlfriend by watching the closing ceremonies of the games.
As for Markle, she is evidently not there for business reasons since she is not part of the Royal Family, at least not yet (there are rumors the two are secretly engaged).
Rumor has it that the two are waiting for the right time to make it official. According to The Sun, Markle could end up leaving her hit show "Suits," in which she is a series regular playing the role of paralegal Rachel Zane, to move to London with Prince Harry.
The show is being filmed in Toronto, but with Prince Harry unable to move there, she might have to "eventually" quit the show, which is awaiting a season 8 renewal, "if they want to be together," per the source.
