Prince William and Kate Middleton Anniversary: Private Celebration and Free Tea (PHOTO)
Sunday will mark the first year anniversary of Prince William's marriage to Kate Middleton. On April 29, 2011 the world stopped to watch one of the most extravagant weddings of recent decades.
Many will remember how happy Kate was and her glowing smile, others will remember her iconic wedding dress that immediately was replicated by dozens of dress makers around the world. Others still may remember Kate's sister, Pippa Middleton, who was a bridesmaid at the wedding, and who has become famous worldwide now for her own iconic bridesmaid dress.
Kate's dress was designed by British fashion designer Sarah Burton and many praised it for its dream-like fairytale style.
Kate is now the Duchess of Cambridge and has gone on to take her place in the royal limelight, fulfilling and getting used to her royal duties over the past year. She has been praised for her composure and elegance, and her compassion, many say, is akin to Prince William's late mother, Princess Diana.
The royal couple will reportedly keep their celebrations low key and private but a Buckingham Palace spokesman has said that they will get together with friends "who have a celebration" planned for the Saturday night.
British tea maker, Tetley, is celebrating the anniversary by offering a year's supply of Tetley tea to other married couples who have the names William and Kate.
To celebrate their one year anniversary here is one of the beautiful iconic photos of that memorable day.
