Prince William and Kate Moving for His New Job, Reports State: William to Be a 'Hands-On' Dad
Prince William has decided to accept an offer with the East Anglian Air Ambulance service in order to be a more hands-on father to son Prince George. Kensington Palace officials are expected to make the formal announcement at any time, but this is the longest a report about Prince William's career choice has lasted.
The second in line to the throne will reportedly begin working as a helicopter pilot in September, after completing his official training. William will then work four days on, three days off, giving him time to spend with Kate and George at their residence in Anmer Hall. The trio will spend part of their week at Anmer Hall and the rest of their time at Kensington Palace. The couple recently had both places fixed up in anticipation of William accepting a job offer.
William previously worked as a search and rescue helicopter pilot for the Royal Air Force but quit that job in order to focus more on family and his royal duties. Now, after a transition year off, he will reportedly be returning to the skies, where he is most comfortable, and to the countryside where he hopes to have somewhat of a normal life for his family.

"William has privately said he does not want to give up flying and hopes to find a way to incorporate it into what he does in the future," a source told the Daily Mail back in May. "He will not become a full-time working member of the royal family in September, and Charles and the Queen support him in this."
As Prince George turns one this week, speculation is rampant about when another royal may be on the way. Moving to the countryside and having more privacy may go hand-in-hand with having another baby. William is fiercely protective of his family and wants nothing more than for his child(ren) to experience as normal a life as possible.
