Prince William & Kate's Private Lives Exposed
Prince William and Duchess Kate enjoyed their private lives in Anglesey but will now be trading that lifestyle for the public lifestyle expected of a royal family. Neighbors are finally speaking about their experience with their royal neighbors and some of the antics they pulled to remain anonymous.
The two allegedly donning wigs went to the local movie theater with friends from the Royal Air Force to watch "Toy Story 3" when it debuted.
"They turned up in fancy dress and wore big afro wigs," theater owner Jean Owen told Daily Mail. "Prince William's was purple if I remember rightly. No one knew they were coming until they turned up, and they said they were wearing the wings for charity."
"Although they were trying to be incognito, people recognized them instantly – but no one would have dreamed of taking a photograph. That's just not the way things are done on Anglesey," another staff member explained.
The two enjoyed a great deal of privacy and respect while living in Anglesey; Middleton was able to go about her daily business of shopping for groceries and generally being out and about without interference. William, stationed at the Air Force base, relished in the freedom of simply being one of the guys.
"I know that I speak for Catherine when I say that I have never in my life known somewhere as beautiful and welcoming as Anglesey," William said in a farewell speech. "Both of us will miss it terribly when my Search & Rescue tour of duty comes to an end."
That will all change when the couple, and new son Prince George, will move into Kensington Palace and begin their royal duties. William is reportedly taking some time off to adjust to the new lifestyle and to ensure that his wife and son are comfortable before taking on a full schedule.
The owners of the home where the royals resided have not decided exactly what they will do with the residence. They can't bear the thought of someone renting the place just to say s/he stayed where the royals did.
"Actually, the house has always been largely used by family and friends to stay in – and this, I understand, is what it will revert to," sources close to the Meyrick family told the Daily Mail.
