Prince William Wants PlayStation 4, 'Not Sure' Kate Middleton Will Approve
Prince William got a sneak peak of the new PlayStation 4 at a recent event and while he admitted to enjoying the video game console, he joked that Kate Middleton may not necessarily agree to him owning one.
The Duke of Cambridge, who is president of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA), launched the organization's Give Something Back youth campaign in London on Monday where he played with the new PS4 console. Middleton, who gave birth in July, was not present for the event.
"It's very addictive," William said – according to E! News. "I'd like to get one, but I'm not sure how my wife would feel about it!"
The BAFTA campaign urges entertainment industry experts to support talented youths who are seeking careers in film, television and video games, by mentoring them.
"Today, more than ever, young people and career-starters need nurture and support to achieve their potential and to succeed. This includes the chance to learn from and work side-by-side with the best in the business," William said in a speech to attendees.
"Give Something Back is a special opportunity for our supremely talented professionals to offer a small amount of their time, or money, to contribute to BAFTA's learning program," he said.
William and Middleton, 31, are said to be adjusting well to parenthood, following the birth of Prince George Alexander Louis.
The Duchess of Cambridge is reportedly undergoing a post-baby makeover and reports claim she recently sought the help of interior designer Emilia Jardine- Paterson.
Jardine-Paterson, who has been friends with Middleton since they were 13, has been helping recreate and style the new mom's wardrobe.
"Kate admires Emilia's style. Emilia has become increasingly important to her and Kate always uses her as a sounding board," a source told Grazia.
"Emilia is trying to move Kate away from the Middleton neutral palate and push her towards color or pattern," the source revealed. "Emilia loves vintage and tries to get Kate to be a bit more quirky. When they were at school she used to tease Kate about her prim Jigsaw shirts and hated those fur gilets Kate wore."
The royal couple had their baby boy christened at the Chapel Royal at St. James Palace in London on Wednesday, Oct. 23.
