'Princess Principal' Episode 11 Spoilers: Ange's Next Mission Is to Assassinate Princess?
Princess' life is in great peril on the next episode of the Japanese spy anime series, "Princess Principal."
General, a new superior who took L's place in Control, has just ordered Ange and her crew to assassinate Princess. With this turn of events finally make Ange, who is the real Princess, reveal the switch she did with the real Ange about 10 years ago? Then again, was the General speaking in literal terms when he told Ange and Dorothy about their next mission?
Nevertheless, it seems that Princess will have to die to serve some purpose that only Control knows at this point. It is not clear, however, if the upcoming episode will pick up on this story, or will present a totally different case file to add more depth to the series' current narrative.
The series has been releasing episodes in a nonlinear way; that is, the case file shown each week is not necessarily the continuation of the one that was released in the previous week.
But the episode title, "Humble Double," seems to hint that the assassination plot against Princess may be shown next. How will Ange and the rest of her crew handle this complicated situation?
The title may also be teasing a look into Princess' daily life as a pretend-royalty. What difficulties does she have to face every day, and has he really convinced everyone at the Albion Kingdom that she is, indeed, Princess Charlotte?
On the other hand, this week's episode also showed the girls in their younger years, training as spies at a place simply known as the Farm. And since the competition is tough, rivalries between would-be spies were formed, much like the one between Ange and the late Prefect. Will more rivalries such as this bring even more challenging threats to Ange and her crew's path?
"Princess Principal" airs on Sundays at 11 p.m. JST on Tokyo MX and Tuesdays late night at 12:30 a.m. JST on BS11. Information on other broadcast schedules and online resources can be found on the series' official site. The series is also available for regions outside Japan via Amazon Prime's Anime Strike service.
