The Great Escape
It has been seven years since the last season ended. The previous seasons showed Michael as the one planning the escape for his brother Lincoln who was in prison then. It can be recalled that Michael had the prison building tattooed on his back. In the end Lincoln was successfully out of prison.
This time, Lincoln is set to save his brother from prison. The great escape will happen and Lincoln will work with the other characters in the show. The other characters will help Michael break free not just in prison but also from the Middle East. Affirmed characters reprising their roles areT-Bag (Robert Knepper), Sucre (Amaury Nolasco) and C-Note (Rockmond Dunbar). Also, Sara (Sarah Wayne Callies) will also play her part in getting Michael out.
The characters will face more challenges this time, since there is an involvement of other groups located in a different country. It can be expected that they will all have to struggle in getting Michael out of prison and even bring him back to the US.
Moreover, the show will provide an explanation on how Michael managed to survive. In the season 4 finale, Michael has been dead and this time he is seen alive and in prison. Season 5 will also look into Michael and Sara's relationship.
