'Project CARS 2' News: Game Now Available and Offers New Tracks, Stunning Gameplay, Vehicles and More

Slightly Mad Studios' "Project CARS 2" recently made its way to PCs and consoles to the delight of players who enjoy racing simulation games.

"Project CARS 2" is the follow-up to the first "Project CARS," which was launched in 2015 and became a smashing hit. The motorsport racing simulator video game was released last Friday, Sept. 22, ahead of other racing games like "Forza 7" and "Gran Turismo Sport," which will also get their turns in the limelight next month.

Prior to its release, developer Slightly Mad Studios dropped a trailer for "Project CARS 2," which gamers can view in spectacular 4K quality. It offered a sneak peek at the same soothing gameplay offered by its predecessor that became a magnet for hardcore and dedicated players in 2015.

Aside from a lot of stunning gameplay footage, the trailer also showed off the spectacular visuals of the title as well as the broad range of vehicles that are now available in it. The clip also showed the several new tracks players can race on and how the different times of the day will look in the follow-up game, including its day and night cycles. The four seasons of the year will also play a part in the whole gaming experience, and so will some dynamic weather conditions and a whole slew of environmental hazards.

"Project CARS 2" is now available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Those who wish to have a Digital Deluxe Edition of the game can also avail of this package, which includes the Season Pass and the Motorsports Cars Pack, for an extra $30. Previously, its publisher, Bandai Namco, also confirmed that players who ordered the game prior to its launch would gain access to the Japanese Car Pack, which includes two vehicles each from car manufacturers Honda and Nissan.

"Project CARS 2" officially launched on Sept. 22.
