'Property Brothers' Spinoff Details: HGTV Reveals New Show with Drew and Jonathan Scott
"Property Brothers" on HGTV is getting a spinoff. Drew and Jonathan Scott will star in another home improvement series called "Property Brothers at Home: Drew's Honeymoon House."
The show will feature five episodes only, unlike the usual series run. It will follow the twin brothers as they renovate Drew's first home, who will soon be married to his longtime love, Linda Phan. The spinoff series will also feature the Scott's oldest brother JD.
The brothers and Phan actually started work on the 3,400-square-foot home in Los Angeles. The house, originally built in the 1920s, will be fitted with more modern and upgraded features like a custom curved-glass window, hot tubs, built-in fire pit and a craft room for Phan.
Drew found the house and Jonathan made the designs. Phan will be decorating the place as soon as the work is done, while JD will be helping out with the construction.
"We're restoring elements of the English-inspired architecture and adding modern updates," Drew shared. "Linda and I are going for an old Hollywood glam, Art Deco design style."
Drew and Phan got engaged in 2016 after dating for six years. The HGTV host is currently competing on "Dancing with the Stars" on ABC and revealed he practices his routine with his fiancée at home after working out the steps with his dancing partner Emma Slater.
"Emma and I work through it," Drew said. "Then I actually try to teach it to Linda because it helps me learn the moves more." The couple sometimes shares their dancing videos on their social media profiles.
The couple will be married in Europe as they have always wanted a destination wedding. They are planning for a spring wedding in either France, Spain or Mykonos.
"Property Brothers at Home: Drew's Honeymoon House" will debut on HGTV this coming Nov. 22 at 9 p.m. EST. "Property Brothers" season 11 premiered last Oct. 11 and will run for 13 episodes.
