PS4 Bundle in France Includes Extra Dual Shock 4 Controller, Camera and Killzone Shadow Fall
France will have a special Sony PS4 bundle that for the time being seems exclusive just for the country.
The French Playstation 4 bundle will come with an extra Dual Shock 4 Controller, PlayStation Camera, and the game Killzone Shadow Fall.
The bundle has been spotted on Amazon France according to Videogamer.com, and retails for EUR 499.99.
"We're tremendously happy with our overall value proposition, whether that be the entry price point of the machine [or] the detailed bundles and combinations that we will put on shelf at retail which we haven't fleshed out in detail as yet," Sony Computer Entertainment U.K. chief Fergal Gara told VideoGamer.com during Gamescom.
While Sony has been relatively quiet on the game bundles front, a PS4 and PS Vita rumor has been circulating for awhile. They are rumored to be bundling the new console with its handheld counterpoint for $500, which is a $150 saving.
The PS4 will be able to utilize their handheld Playstation Vita as a controller for select games on the new console according to a Sony executive, which also makes the pairing a good idea.
Initial confusion had the Vita as a controller option for the PS4, and since then Sony executive Shuhei Yoshida has clarified the information on Twitter.
"HEY BRO!... Could you tell us if the PS Vita 'The Ultimate companion' Can be used as a second controller on the PS4?" a Twitter user asked, to which he responded, "Hey BRO! In a normal sense, no. Unless a game is specifically programmed to allow such use of PS Vita."
Sony, however, is promising that virtually every game coming to the console will be playable on the Vita as an additional feature and extension of the game not necessarily as a unique control for the console version, according to Gamespot.com.
Also, games that utilize the Playstation Eye or Move will not be compatible with the PS Vita.
