PS4 Price Drops to $370, Find out Where to Buy
The PS4 price has dropped to $370 on eBay.
The retailer is offering the console for $30 cheaper than its normal price. There's no information on how long the deal will last so those looking for a great deal on Sony's system should act fast.
The latest PS4 firmware update was released at the end of last month.
Sony's Scott McCarthy recently detailed some of the changes that comes with the firmware labeled 1.70 that includes SHAREfactory, a new rich video editor app for PS4 that makes it easy for players to customize their gameplay videos.
Another addition to the system allows players to not only upload their SHAREfactory videos directly to Facebook, but to also be able to store them on an external device.
"Other PS4 SHARE enhancements include the ability to change the recording time of your gameplay to shorter increments, the ability to change who you share your clips with on the SHARE screen, and the removal of default saves for screenshots and video clips," said McCarthy.
The update allows users to switch off HDCP in order to enable them to capture video directly from their HDMI output so they can record and share longer clips of their gameplay sessions.
Downloading games before their release is also possible with the update. Those with the new software can pre-load the games they pre-order which provides players with quicker access to their purchase. PS4 users no longer have to wait until the title becomes available in the PlayStation Store to download it.
The PS4 console was released towards the end of last year and recently reached a milestone by selling over 7 million units in a short amount of time. Sony revealed this information earlier this year.
The company also announced that over 20.5 million games for the system have been sold both at digital and at retail. It is currently outselling the Wii U and Xbox One.
