'Quantico' Season 1B News: Timeline and Other Things the Midseason Premiere Will Bring
Just one more month to go before "Quantico" returns on TV, and fans are wondering what the second half of the first season will bring this March.
According to Heavy.com, there will be a jump in the show's timeline. The last that fans have seen Alex (Priyanka Chopra) and the other FBI agents was when the second bomb was detonated. There were also a lot of unanswered questions left hanging, but the creator and executive producer of the show, Josh Safran, provided clues on what to expect this coming March premiere.
In his interview with TV Line, Safran said, "There will be a significant time jump in the future segment of our storyline." The website said that the show will pick up three months after the second bombing in New York City. However, Safran said that there will be "no buffer."

The scenes from the FBI Academy in Quantico will still be featured, and the first episodes of the second part of the show will be addressing the unanswered questions of the series. This also includes one of the questions that fans have been dying to know. "You will get an answer as to what exactly, if anything at all, transpired between Alex and Liam on New Year's Eve," Safran said.
Meanwhile, Alex's complicated relationship with Ryan (Jake McLaughlin) became more complicated after the show introduced Ryan's ex-wife, Hannah (Eliza Coupe). However, according to Chopra's latest interview with Entertainment Weekly, Hannah is not the one to blame why her character and Ryan can't be together. "The problem actually is not even Hannah, it's what happens with Ryan and Alex after everything they've been through," the Bollywood actress said.
"They love each other, but they can't be together, because Alex is her own destruction. She's so dark that anything good for her she runs away from," Chopra explained. The actress added that Alex has the tendency to hurt herself before others can hurt her first. Chopra said that this fear is going to be Alex's downfall.
