'Quantico' Season 2 Release Date, Spoilers, Updates: Will Ryan and Alex Get Married? POTUS and First Lady in Danger, and More
Alex Parrish will soon be back to save the world, as "Quantico's" Season 2 premiere date draws nearer and nearer. And ABC sure knows how to tease out its fans, as it unveiled a series of promotional images from the season premiere, "Kudove". The photos follow Alex and her new adventures at the Farm, a secret training facility at the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). Beware the spate of new spoilers for the season premiere!
We get a glimpse of Alex's new classmates and mentors at the agency, including photojournalist Leon Velez (played by Aaron Diaz), the mysterious Harry Doyle (Russell Tovey), Harvard lawyer Dayana Mampasi (Pearl Thusi), artisan prodigy Lydia Bates (Tracy Ifeachor), and CIA head instructor Owen Hall (Blair Underwood).
Surprisingly, Ryan Booth (Jake McLaughlin), Alex's love interest, is seen involved with the new CIA recruits at the Farm with Alex. Does this mean that he'll be joining the CIA as well? Or is he called upon by the CIA as an FBI agent to help solve the crisis that awaits them?
In another photo, we see Alex trying to sneak into a building as a group of men clad in black heavy suits enter the premises. Could she be tracking a group of terrorists again?
What we know so far for "Quantico" Season 2
According to SpoilerTV, "Quantico's" second season will follow Alex's new life at the CIA and how she'll rise up to the challenges of espionage and dangerous threats. It's revealed that the season premiere episode title, "Kudove", stands for the CIA deputy director of operations, and is likely pointing to Owen Hall.
The official synopsis for Season 2 also teased a "deadly conspiracy" that threatens not just the country, but the entire world. Priyanka Chopra, who plays Alex Parrish in the series, tweeted a promo video revealing that the President and the First Lady are trapped by this new threat as well.
Alex and Ryan: Will they get married?
In the same promo, we see a brief glimpse of a wedding ring as Alex hugs Ryan tearfully. Earlier, showrunner Josh Safran revealed that the first time we see Alex, we see them together. Could Ryan be proposing to Alex?
Hopefully not, because in the same breath, Josh Safran had warned that everything will "start to go wrong" after the 45 seconds they are together.
Could he be pertaining to the hostage crisis teased in the video, or is it just too early for wedding bells? We will find out soon enough as soon as "Quantico" takes off on air on September 25, 10 p.m., on ABC!
