'Quantico' Season 3 Spoilers: Who Will Be Alex's Ally in Her Fight for Survival?
Alex (Priyanka Chopra) cannot afford to let her guard down in order to stay alive in the upcoming season of "Quantico."
Spoilers for the new installment reveal that Alex and her boyfriend Ryan (Jake McLaughlin) will spend the majority of their time running away from the authorities. After President Roarke's (Dennis Boutsikaris) death, the US government ordered their arrest, even tapping on the Interpol to track down the fugitives in the event that they manage to get out of the country.
Recently, it has been revealed that the cast and crew of the ABC series were in Italy for filming. Chopra has been keeping her fans updated on her whereabouts, posting photos of herself visiting heritage sites in Rome like the Vatican, Castel Sant'Angelo, the Colosseum, and the Pantheon. In one of her posts, she said that they were shooting scenes in Tuscany. Thus, it looks like Alex and Ryan will first seek refuge in Italy after successfully leaving the US.

Alex and Ryan's predicament is expected to be no less difficult in season 3. In a May interview, the show's creator, Josh Safran, hinted that both would have to rely on their connections to stay alive. Viewers are wondering who among their friends will stay loyal and help them escape capture.
There is Harry (Russell Tovey), who will be returning to the US after a long hiatus. Owen (Blair Underwood), the current deputy director of the CIA, and Shelby (Johanna Braddy), now a Quantico instructor, will also have to decide if Alex and Ryan are worth sacrificing their jobs for.
"We have definitely talked about that — we wouldn't have sent her off without having a game plan of how she would operate. Now she's on the run, but at the same time, she is probably one of the best operatives and therefore has a lot of skills that can be used... All I can say [for a potential season 3 storyline] is that if it were up to me, I would look at it more like the back nine [episodes], basically that Alex and her team would need to keep the very precarious balance that is in the world that's tipping us toward war," Safran said.
"Quantico" season 3 is expected to premiere in 2018.
