Rachel Bilson Tattoos on Neck Shocks Fans: Are They Real?
Rachel Bilson debuted four new tattoos prominently displayed on her neck Tuesday, setting the Internet ablaze with reactions.
The colorful star-shaped tattoos varied in size and decorated the left side of the actress' neck as she walked through Los Angeles International Airport.
Known for her classy and chic style, Bilson's new look shocked fans, including Twitter user Kelsey who wrote: "Rachel Bilson sports a new neck tattoo omg this is TERRIBLE."
"No way those neck tattoos Rachel Bilson has are real," Ryan wrote to the social media site. "No one gets a neck tattoo their first time!"
Billie added, "Someone please tell me that rachel bilson let someone draw on her neck with sharpies and that's not a real tattoo. It(s) so ugly."
Fortunately, the "Hart of Dixie" star's tattoos are indeed impermanent, according to OMG! Yahoo. Bilson's new look is the result of an upcoming role.
Bilson stated that she does not have any tattoos due to her ever-changing style during an interview in 2009.
"I haven't slept in the same thing for two years straight, so that's how I can't get one," the actress explained.
Meanwhile, the 31-year-old starlet recently reunited with actor Hayden Christensen, whom she was engaged to in 2009.
Looking ahead, Bilson said that starting a family is definitely something she hopes to do.
"Thirty is a whole different thing," started the actress to Cosmopolitan. "You can slow down and focus on family. Starting a family one day is definitely something I look forward to."
As for her temporary tattoos, Bilson joined a slew of other celebrities that have experimented with body art recently.
Halle Berry, who just married Olivier Martinez in France over the weekend, returned to Los Angeles with temporary ink on her chest, according to the Daily Mail.
Alternately, celebrities with real tattoos are numerous, including Justin Bieber, who just added a realistic tattoo on his arm of what is believed to be his mother's eye.
