Rachel Uchitel to Lose Custody of Daughter After 'Cruel and Inhumane' Claims?
Rachel Uchitel, one of many former mistress of pro golfer Tiger Woods, and her husband Mat Hahn are fighting for custody of their one-year-old daughter amid reports of verbal and physical abuse between both parties.
On June 10, Matt Hahn officially filed to divorce Rachel Uchitel, who he married a year and a half ago, citing "cruel and inhuman treatment" on her part.
Publically available court documents reveal that attorney's for Hahn revealed that he feared for his mental well-being.
"The defendant [Rachel] so endangers the physical or mental well being of the plaintiff as renders it unsafe or improper for the plaintiff to cohabit with the defendant," according to the court declaration.
In the divorce papers, Hahn is seeking custody of their 1-year-old daughter in addition to spousal and child support, according to entertainment website TMZ.
Uchitel's representative recently released a statement on behalf of her client saying that Uchitel is focused on resolving this issue as quickly as possible.
"Rachel Uchitel is ending her marriage of less than two years to insurance executive and former Penn State fullback Matt Hahn. It is Ms. Uchitel's goal to resolve this action amicably, quickly and quietly and not in the media. No further details of the action are being released at this time by Ms. Uchitel," according to the statement published by E! Online.
The 37-year-old Uchitel came to prominence after it was revealed that she was one of the many mistresses linked to Tiger Woods in 2010.
Before marrying Hahn, Uchitel was engaged to James Andrew O'Grady, an investment banker who was killed during the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001. She was also married to Wall Street trader Steven Ehrenkranz.
