Radicals Condemned for Praying for George Michael to Die
While singer George Michael battles pneumonia in a Viennese hospital, radicals are reportedly praying for his death.
Michael, 48, indefinitely postponed his tour last week after falling seriously ill, forcing friends and family members to join his hospital bedside.
Controversial group Christians For A Moral America (CFAMA) has taken to Twitter to condemn the British singer, suggesting he may have "AIDS" and is consequently "close to death." The Grammy winning artist, who came out as a homosexual in the 90's following a sex scandal involving another man in a public rest room, has had a very controversial past.

The group recently tweeted, "Pray for George Michael's demise. He has chosen a satanic lifestyle and must meet an appropriate end."
Another read, "Apparently George Michael has AIDS. Figures since he's a homosexual and it goes with the territory. Another sodomite bites the dust?"
Although the group's Twitter account has since been removed, critics have vented their anger – arguing that the group preaches hate and is not at all a true representation of mainstream Christian beliefs.
Author John Shore, who runs a Christian blog, argued that the group makes true Christians look bad.
On his blog johnshore.com he wrote, "So many people are so ready to believe the worst of Christians and Christianity."
He suggested that the group may cause damage by enforcing stereotypes. Shore explained that some people have "the idea that virtually all Christians are narrow-minded, hate-filled, fear-based, hypocritical misogynistic homophobes."
The blog also went on to disassociate real Christian values from that of the radical group. Michael's publicist responded to the group's foul statements, as quoted by abcnews.com, ''any other speculation regarding his illness is unfounded and untrue."
The statement also indicated Michael is doing well, "He is receiving excellent medical care. He is responding to treatment and slowly improving."
