RadioShack: $200 Savings on Smartphones HTC Thunderbolt, Motorola Droid X2

To announce and advertise their partnership with Verizon Wireless, RadioShack is offering a deal that will allow for up to $200 worth of savings on various popular smartphones such as the HTC Thunderbolt, the Samsung Droid Charge, the Motorola Droid X2 and Droid Bionic.

“We’re so excited to have Verizon Wireless available in RadioShack stores across the country, and even more exciting [are] the awesome deals that we have for our customers looking to save $200 on a new Verizon Wireless smartphone at RadioShack!” Verizon Wireless said in a statement.

Customers will be able to save an initial $100 instantly via rebate when they buy a select Verizon smartphone and activate a two-year contract. RadioShack associates are available to activate and approve the rebate to ensure that customers are actually receiving the deal.

Current Verizon Wireless customers are also eligible to receive a $100 gift card in addition to the $100 instant rebate when they upgrade their phone.

In order to receive this deal, customers must trade in their old phones for a new version smartphone at RadioShack. Afterwards, they must go to http://trade-in.vzw.com/ and key in the unique promo code that they will receive via email or SMS.

Customers then send their old phone back to Verizon in a prepaid envelope provided by the network. Once Verizon receives the phone, the customer will be mailed their $100 gift card.

Additionally, RadioShack is offering 25 percent off of accessories for any customer who purchases a Verizon Wireless smartphone.

The HTC Thunderbolt originally sells for $249, the Samsung Droid Charge for $299, the Motorola Droid X2 for $199 and the Motorola Droid Bionic for $299 with a two-year contract.

Customers can essentially get the Motorola Droid X2 for free as per the complete deal.
