Rapper The Game Investigated for Domestic Assault Against Fiancée Tiffney Cambridge
The Game is reportedly being investigated for domestic assault against his fiancée Tiffney Cambridge.
The rapper, born Jayceon Terrell Taylor, is accused of attacking Cambridge, 38, during a dispute which allegedly occurred on March 19. Cambridge, who shares two children with Game, claims her nose was broken and that her eye socket was injured after he repeatedly punched her in the face and as a result the L.A. County Sheriff's Department has launched a criminal investigation, according to TMZ.com.
The couple, who have been involved on and off for 9 years, appear on the VH1 reality TV show "Marrying The Game" where their relationship woes are often played out.
It is unclear what exactly prompted their argument, however, some fans are speculating whether gossip surrounding Game's close friendship with Khloe Kardashian may have caused problems.
In February, Kardashian, 29, shared a black and white photo of herself and Game with her 8 million Instagram followers in the wake of romance rumors. The E! star, who filed for divorce from NBA star Lamar Odom in December, was intentionally ambiguous as she described being subject to dating rumors as "fun."
"I could explain but it's more fun this way @thedocumentary #10PlusYearsandCounting," Kardashian wrote in the photo caption.
Weeks before sharing the Instagram photo, Kardashian and Game partied together at Los Angeles hotspot Tru Nightclub and their suggestive dance moves fueled romance speculation.
"I'm a mess! LOL at least I make myself laugh!" Kardashian tweeted along with a link to video footage of herself twerking on the rapper.
Game previously denied reports claiming his relationship with Kardashian is romantic, insisting the E! star is "like a sister."
"Khloe is my friend. She is like a sister. We have never and will never be sleeping together. Lamar is my homie and her husband and I wish people wouldn't spread such false rumors," the rapper told TMZ.
