'Ray Donovan' Season 5 Cast News, Air Date: Graham Rogers, Michel Gill Tapped to Play Recurring Roles

"Ray Donovan" has been on a roll in terms of casting this year, as two more actors have been added to the cast list of the upcoming fifth season.

According to Variety, Graham Rogers and Michel Gill have been tapped to play key roles in the new season, which begins principal photography this year. Rogers, who is best known for his stint on "Quantico," will play Bridget's (Kerris Dorsey) new boyfriend, Smitty. On the other hand, Gill, who has had roles in "House of Cards" and "Mr. Robot," will portray Doug Landry.

Both characters will be appearing throughout the fifth season of "Ray Donovan" in a recurring capacity. However, it is unknown how they will affect the storyline of the next installment.

Joining Rogers and Gill are Adina Porter, Brian White and Lili Simmons. Porter will play Vicky Delgatti, who has the same fixer job as the titular protagonist. Meanwhile, White will portray Jay, a rapper-actor-producer who is on the top of his game in the entertainment industry. Simmons will play Natalie James, who is a famous and attractive actress.

All three newcomers will be appearing in several episodes, with Porter and White signed on for at least four episodes and Simmons for a season-long arc.

The fifth season of "Ray Donovan" is expected to continue following Liev Schreiber's eponymous role as he navigates his new life with his family. His work has brought him to Tinseltown, where he is expected to cross paths with many of the new characters on the show. As showrunner David Hollander has explained, a lot of characters have gone through changes, which means there are many facets of their lives to explore.

The Showtime series begins production for season 5 this year. It remains to be seen if this will be the last season for the show, but Hollander has already assured fans that the series will not end by killing off Ray since it would be too easy.

"Ray Donovan" season 5 does not have a premiere date yet.
