'Ray Donovan' Season 5 Cast News: Susan Sarandon, Rhys Coiro Tapped to Play Hollywood Roles

More names have been added to the cast list of "Ray Donovan" for its upcoming fifth season. With the titular character's move to Hollywood, new characters are bound to be introduced, and one of them will be played by Academy Award winner Susan Sarandon.

Sarandon, who is currently starring on FX's "Feud: Bette and Joan" as Bette Davis, is set to portray the recurring role of Samantha Winslow. According to TheWrap, her character is the "strong, focused head of a motion picture studio."

Another Hollywood character is debuting in the fifth season, and he will be played by Rhys Coiro. Widely known for his stint on "Entourage" as Billy Walsh, Coiro will bring to life the character of Rob Heard, who is a suspicious and shadowy Hollywood manager. Heard is also married to an important celebrity in the industry. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Coiro will be appearing in, at the very least, two episodes.

But Sarandon and Coiro are not the only new faces fans will say hello to come season 5. Joining them are Graham Rogers, Michel Gill, Adina Porter, Brian White and Lili Simmons.

As previously reported, Rogers will be playing Smitty, the new boyfriend of Bridget (Kerris Dorsey). Rogers' most recent television credit is ABC's "Quantico," where he played Caleb Haas. Gill, who has appeared on "House of Cards" and "Mr. Robot," will play Doug Landry.

Porter and White will portray fixer Vicky and rapper-actor-producer Jay, respectively. Both will be appearing in at least four episodes. Finally, Simmons will play famous actress Natalie James, who will be part of a season-long arc.

The season 5 cast of "Ray Donovan" is already taking shape. It is unknown, though, if more will be added to the mix. Production for the fifth season of the Showtime series is set to commence this year. However, the network has not yet announced an official premiere date.
