Ray Rice, Wife Janay 'Praying' for Those Mocking Domestic Violence Ordeal With Disturbing Halloween Costumes
Disgraced NFL star Ray Rice and his wife Janay are said to be "praying" for those mocking them for Halloween.
Last week social networking sites were flooded with disturbing photos showing people dressed up as the Rices. Halloween enthusiasts donned NFL costumes and sported black eyes while mocking the couple's Feb. 15 assault incident, and they are understandably not impressed.
Earlier this year Rice, who was cut by the Baltimore Ravens last month, was captured on video knocking out his then fiancée during a physical altercation at Revel Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The incident left Janay unconscious which sparked outrage; however, some are making light of their ordeal in the spirit of Halloween.

"[They're] praying for those people," a source told TMZ.com on Tuesday.
One alarming photo shows a young boy wearing an NFL costume and black face while dragging a black doll while another shows a woman sporting a black eye and pretending to be punched by a man wearing football gear.
Janay, who went on to marry the former running back after the assault, tweeted her outrage last week after photos of the bizarre costumes hit the web.
"It's sad, that my suffering amuses others," she tweeted on October 22.
In March, Rice was indicted by a grand jury for third-degree aggravated assault related to the incident even though Janay refused to testify against him.
The charges will likely be dropped if he completes a pre-trial intervention program, which the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office agreed to.
The couple, who share a 3-year-old daughter, reportedly began counseling after the assault and are working to strengthen their marriage. They were both baptized in a Baltimore church one month after the attack and they are reportedly using their faith to turn a new leaf.
"He found God, and whatever happened that night was not him. That's not the Ray that I know," a family source previously told The New York Post.
