Razer Phone Specs News: UK Retailer Leaks Product Page; Confirms 8 GB RAM and 120Hz Refresh Rate

Another leak, this time by a United Kingdom retailer, revealed features and specifications of the rumored Razer Phone.

For some time now, gaming and mobile fans have probably heard that gaming hardware maker Razer is rumored to venture into the smartphone market with their own brand of products.

A little ahead of Razer's 'biggest unveiling' event, U.K. retailer 3G accidentally posted the product page for the anticipated Razer Phone. Based on the information provided, the device has the specifications and features to fall into the "premium" category of smartphones.

As mentioned in earlier leaks and benchmark test results, the Razer Phone will have a hefty 8 GB RAM -- the same RAM that people can find even on premium laptops like the MacBook Pro or Surface Pro 2-in-1s. This particular specification is one of the telling signs that Razer still wants to cater to smartphone users who love heavy games and apps.

The earlier leaks and the 3G product page also agreed that the Razer Phone will sport a 5.7-inch screen.

Meanwhile, one new important piece of information that 3G accidentally provided involved the device's 120-hertz refresh rate.

If the said specification is accurate, this is another indication that Razer has built the upcoming smartphone with gamers in mind. A refresh rate as high as 120 Hz will ensure the most minimal lag even for heavy gaming apps.

Another impressive feature leaked on the 3G website is Razer Phone's support for Dolby ATMOS sound for "dual front-facing speakers and amplifiers."

Meanwhile, all these heavy specifications and features tailored for very demanding apps and usage will be supported by a hefty 4,000-milliampere hour battery pack.

Since the Razer Phone is most likely going to run on a Snapdragon 835 mobile CPU, the device will support the Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+ feature that will allow the handset "to go from empty to 50 percent in just 15 minutes."

Razer is yet to mention anything about the rumored Razer Phone, but many fans expect it to be the highlight of their Nov. 1 unveiling event in London that can be watched on livestream on Wednesday, Nov. 1, at 1 p.m. San Francisco time (4 p.m. EDT).
