'Real Housewives' Adrienne Maloof 'Sorry' for Paul Nassif Divorce, Open Marriage To Blame?
"Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Adrienne Maloof has confirmed that she and her husband of nine years, Dr. Paul Nassif, are heading for a divorce.
The reality TV star and renowned business woman opened up about the recent split following reports that Nassif is in the process of filing for a legal separating, according to reports.
"I'm so sorry that this is happening but my children are my life and sometimes we need to do what's best for them," Maloof told RadarOnline.com adding that "it's an unfortunate situation but, I have to have my kids best interest at heart," she added.
The estranged couple, who has three sons: Gavin, Colin and Christian, are often seen bickering on the hit Bravo reality TV show and Maloof, 50, has previously admitted that she can only tolerate Nassif in small doses.
New reports suggest that the pair cannot stand one another and that they have an open marriage. Nassif, a plastic surgeon, reportedly would often complain about having a sexless marriage to friends.
"Things have not been good between them for a while. [Paul] says they haven't had sex for ages," a friend of Nassif's allegedly told Star Magazine adding that "they just try to have very little to do with each other."
Nassif has reportedly wanted to file for divorce from Maloof for some time, but has been reluctant to give up the lavish lifestyle that she has provided him.
Maloof, who was born in to the prominent and wealthy Maloof family, is co-owner of the various business holdings of Maloof Companies including the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas and the Sacramento Kings basketball team.
Reports of Maloof's ongoing financial woes have also been blamed for the estranged couple's recent separation, although the mother of three is still considered to be exceptionally wealthy by critics.
