'Real Housewives of Atlanta' News: Nov. 16 Episode Recap 'No Moore Apologies'
On last Sunday's episode of "Real Housewives of Atlanta," Apollo Nida came clean about the lies that he told about Kenya Moore, Kandi bought a new house for her mother, and Kenya was still depressed about having no friends.
Apollo, who is about to face 10 years in jail, decided to clear the air with one of the housewives as he told the truth and admitted that what he said before about Kenya propositioning him was a lie. Kenya felt vindicated, but felt that Phaedra needs to apologize to her for all the bad things that she said to her.
Later, Apollo showed up at his son's dentist appointment. Phaedra was there, and instead of confronting him and asking why he was there, she decided to give him the cold shoulder.
"As a Southern belle, I will always be appropriate and cordial in public in spite of what might happen in private," said Phaedra.
The dentist told their son Ayden that he needs to do some "teamwork brushing" with his parents, to which the boy replies, "teamwork brushing, working together." Ayden, oblivious to his parent's growing rift, becomes confused when they board separate vehicles at the parking lot. "Where are you going?" he asked.
Meanwhile across town, Kenya was still depressed because she doesn't have any friends left. Brandon came over to cheer her up. He encouraged her to do something and not let Porsha drag her down. Kenya admitted that she wanted to be a "working actress" again.
Kandi tells Todd that she's buying her mother, Joyce, a new house. Despite the fact that she just gave her mother one, Joyce didn't like it because she thinks that Todd can kick her out of it anytime. Joyce and Kandi go house hunting and Joyce barely spoke to Todd even though he was being very polite to her. The new house Joyce picked was big, and it has seven bedrooms.
Later, Kandi said that she wishes that their families could get along. She told Joyce that she owes Todd's mother an apology for calling her a prostitute, but Joyce disagreed and says that Sharon owes her an apology—for giving birth to Todd.
"Real Housewives of Atlanta" airs Sundays at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
