'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Star Taylor Armstrong Slammed
"Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Taylor Armstrong has been criticized by her late husband's ex-wife and ex-fiancée for the way she handled his suicide, and has been accused of profiting from his death.
Armstrong is accused of being heartless and greedy concerning her late husband Russell Armstrong’s estate by both women, according to Star Magazine.
Barbara Fredrickson, Russell’s ex-wife, and Milette Fields, his former fiancée, both have children by Russell. The pair claimed they were never personally notified that their children's father was dead.
“She never called us to say he passed away...She could have said, ‘Before this hits the news, this is what happened.’ I would have done that, but she didn’t," Barbara told the magazine.
Russell, who also fathered a young daughter with Armstrong, committed suicide in August, just one month after Armstrong filed for divorce.
The troubled couple frequently displayed traits of a dysfunctional marriage on the RHOBH reality show.
In a recent episode taped prior to Russell's death, Armstrong confides in her fellow cast mates, saying she was the victim of domestic abuse.
Almost eight months after Russell's suicide, Armstrong revealed she was writing a tell-all book titled "Hiding from Reality: My Story of Love, Loss, and Finding the Courage Within.”
The book, which is yet to be released, reveals intimate and explicit details about Armstrong's doomed marriage to Russell supposedly with the intent to raise domestic violence awareness, according to TMZ.
After learning about the Armstrong's book, Russell's exes were upset, and feared she was exploiting her late husband even in death, which they argue could harm the children.
“Enough is enough! Let the children mourn and remember their father in a good light...Shame on her for profiting from her husband’s tragic death," Barbara fumed.
