'Real Housewives of New Jersey' News: What to Expect in Season 8
The "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" season 8 premiere is about to drop on Bravo, and it will feature original cast members Teresa Giudice and Danielle Staub, as well as newbie Margaret Josephs.
In the first episode of the eighth season, the show reportedly opens with the death of Antonia Gorga, Guidice's mother. This is said to make a great impact on her as she realizes that the 11 months she spent in prison could have been spent with her mother.
Staub, who starred in the show's earlier season, is going to be part of the new season as well. It can be recalled that while she and Guidice had a bond as they shared the same love for yoga, they also had a big conflict that caused the latter to flip a table at an Italian restaurant.
Does this mean that the two managed to repair their relationship?
As for Josephs, she recently spoke with AOL regarding her decision to join the Bravo reality series.
"I'm turning 50 this year, I've had my own business for a very long time and I thought it was just perfect timing," the entrepreneur and fashion designer told the news outlet.
"I come from a single mom, I've had a lot of ups and downs, I'm completely self-made, I'm on my second marriage and I thought it would be great to show women that you can make it on your own and pull yourself up by the bootstraps and do it all while having a lot of fun," she went on to say.
She also jokingly added that her life has already been a reality show since the day she was born.
Meanwhile, Giudice reportedly opens up about her life without her husband Joe, in her new book titled "Standing Strong." He is currently serving a 41-month federal prison sentence for bankruptcy fraud. However, what makes her memoir more interesting is the revelation of an In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) procedure she had undergone before.
"I've never told anyone this, but before we had Audriana — our fourth daughter — Joe and I did invitro fertilization with the intent of gender selection, in order to try for a son," she revealed in the book, according to Life and Style Magazine.
She also explained how the process was done, but unfortunately, it did not work.
"The Real Housewives of New Jersey" premieres Wednesday, Oct. 4, at 9 p.m. EDT on Bravo TV.
