'Real Housewives Of New Jersey' Teresa Giudice Getting Spinoff Show?
"Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice is reportedly in talks with Bravo TV producers to star in her very own spinoff show.
Giudice, who fans often refer to as the show's breakout star, was embroiled in several feuds with her Bravo TV co-stars throughout season four of the hit reality TV show. Now it appears that the 40-year-old veteran housewife may be leaving the show to pursue her own reality TV show.
"All the drama and crazy things that Teresa and Joe have done is what makes them perfect candidates for their very own breakoutshow," a source reportedly told RadarOnline.com.
"They're in talks right now and the show would include the whole Giudice side of the family, which would explain why we saw more of [her husband] Joe's brother Pete and his wife Sheila in last Housewives season," the source went on.
While a spinoff show would undoubtedly be popular among fans of Giudice, producers are currently trying to determine how it would work with Giudice's husband Joe's impending legal woes. Joe is set to stand trial after being accused of fraudulently obtaining a fake drivers license after having his license suspended on a DUI charge.
"With Joe's possible jail time they're trying to iron out how this show would work, but they're definitely pushing forward on it," the source explained.
Giudice was stunned to learn that her sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga, and cousin, Kathy Wakile, were joining the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" cast in season three, which ignited a bitter family feud. In addition, her friendships with veteran housewives Jacqueline Laurita and Caroline Manzo also began to crumble.
The same recurring drama was continued in season four and Bravo producers are reportedly concerned that with no new drama to add to the show's plot lines, viewers could begin to lose interest.
"People are starting to bore with the same old cat fights every episode so they need to change it up," the source said.
