'Real Housewives of Orange County': Cast Returns for Season 8 (VIDEO)
"The Real Housewives of Orange County" will return on April 1 and all cast members are back for season eight, as well as one new addition.
Lydia McLaughlin, who describes herself as a "mother, wife, filmmaker and editor of Beverly Hills Lifestyle Magazine," is also said to be the "brainchild" of Lydia M Jewelry. The Orange County resident will join Vicki Gunvalson, Tamra Barney, Gretchen Rossi, Heather Dubrow and Alexis Bellino for the Bravo reality TV show's drama-filled and catty new season.

Gunvalson, who is a veteran housewife, appears to be in a better place after last season and the mother of two becomes a first time grandmother. Her relationship with Brooks Ayers, however, is still causing problems between her and her daughter Brianna.
"I miss Brooks and so we're gonna continue doing it," Gunvalson tells Brianna in one scene.
"If you wanna have him come here that's totally cool I'm just not gonna live here," Brianna responds, much to her mother's dismay.
Rossi, 36, claims that she is ready to take the next step with her long-term partner Slade Smiley, and the pair are seen having discussions about becoming parents, though there is no talk of a potential wedding.
Dubrow, who along with her husband Terry joined the show during season seven, is seen bickering with the plastic surgeon and even slams the father of four as a "jerk." It appears that her marriage may have run into problems.
Barney, who got engaged to Eddie Judge in season seven, is seen trying to plan their wedding. He appears to get cold feet, however, which ultimately causes problems.
Bellino and her husband Jim return despite Barney's previous claims that the mother of three had been fired. The 33-year-old, who is a close friend of McLaughlin, still appears to be on the outs with most of her cast mates this season.
"If [Lydia's] friends with Alexis maybe she's not my kind of people," Dubrow is heard saying.
At one point Bellino is seen sulking in the back of a limousine with Gunvalson and McLaughlin by her side. When McLaughlin explains that she does not believe the women bullied her, Bellino yells "I had to go on Xanax for it Lydia!"
Laurie Peterson, who appeared during seasons 1-4, also makes a brief return, which upsets Gunvalson and Barney.
