'Real Housewives of Orange County' Kelly Dodd News: Reality Star Announces Split From Husband

Kelly Dodd reveals that her marriage with husband Michael Dodd is officially over.

In an exclusive interview with Daily Mail, the "Real Housewives of Orange County" star announced that their 11-year-old marriage has ended.

"Our marriage is over, I'm out of there! We've have problems for years and I've had enough, I'm done with our marriage," the 42-year-old reality star said.

The news did not come as a surprise for those who had followed the couple's relationship in the long-running Bravo reality show since their fights had been constantly recorded by the cameras. They also initially broke up in 2012, but they decided to reconcile before the premiere episode of "Real Housewives of Orange County" season 11 in 2016.

Dodd claimed that she and her husband are no longer getting along, which is why they decided to go on separate ways and spend more time in raising their 11-year-old daughter Jolie instead of wasting their energy bickering with each other.

"Maybe we'll better to each other when we are divorced and are friends. But right now we are both miserable and it's not good for either one of us, let alone our daughter," she added.

The estranged couple was also involved in several run-ins with the police. According to reports, law enforcers were called to respond to their home in Newport Beach, California back in July.

Meanwhile, RadarOnline reported that Dodd and her immediate family are not in good terms. She has not been talking to her mother and brother since July, but they were actually fighting for months already. This is why they only learned about the divorce online.

However, the reality star's family does not feel anything for her ongoing ordeal. Insiders reportedly told the publication that the family believed that Dodd would have to go through a serious therapy before they can finally talk to her again.
