'Real Housewives' Reunion: Kyle in Tears Over Brandi's Explosive Claim (VIDEO)
"Real Housewives" of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards was reduced to tears during the season three reunion show taping after her costar Brandi Glanville accused her of not being a supportive sister to Kim Richards.
For years Richards, 48, has struggled with addiction and while she is now said to be clean, her journey to sobriety has been the main source of conflict between the mother of four and Kyle, 44. Glanville, 40, suggested that Kyle enjoys seeing her older sister "fail."
"Kyle was always doubting Kim's sobriety, and I almost feel like it would make her happy if she failed," Glanville told Bravo TV host Andy Cohen during a group discussion.
The former model's statement stunned her co-stars and Kyle, who was seated directly alongside Glanville, immediately lashed out at her.
"You know nothing about my history of what I've gone through with my sister, or anything about us," a sobbing Kyle said.
"I've spent every f------ night of my life… every single night saying a prayer to God to keep my sister sober. First to get her sober, and now to keep her sober. That is the meanest thing you could say," she continued.
Glanville, who appeared to be empathetic, insisted she was "not trying to be mean."
"All I'm saying is that when I watch it back, every time, it seems everyone's rooting for Kim, and Kyle's like 'well I don't know...'" Glanville began.
"No one is rooting for my sister more than me ok!" Kyle interjected.
Richards, who also began sobbing, was evidently hurt by the statements. Fellow 'Housewives' Lisa Vanderpump and Taylor Armstrong attempted to comfort her.
"I don't want to hear that anyone would want to hear me fail especially my sister," Kim said.
Part two of The "Real Housewives" reunion special will air Monday, April 1 at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo TV.
