'Real Housewives' Tamra, Alexis End Feud? 'I'm Getting to Appreciate Her' (VIDEO)
"Real Housewives of Orange County" stars Tamra Barney and Alexis Bellino have reportedly reached a truce after a years-long feud, and viewers may finally see both women interacting in a more positive light in season eight.
Barney, 45, was accused of bullying Bellino, 33, throughout season seven of the hit Bravo reality show, and although the pair ended the season on a bad note they have reportedly since patched things up. In September it was claimed that Bellino had quit the show over the ongoing bullying, however, the mother of three eventually agreed to return.
"I don't know if Alexis and i will ever be true friends. I think I'm getting to appreciate her for who she is and she's getting to know me for who I am," Barney told RumorFix.
"As i put it to her this season, 'Let's get to know each other in the things we do have in common versus the things we don't have in common and maybe we'll get along,'" she added.
Bellino, who is a proud Christian, was embroiled in ongoing feuds with Barney as well as her former "BFF" Gretchen Rossi, 38. Their fights appeared to reach new heights during the season 7 reunion show taping.
Barney hurled various insults at Bellino including the bizarre term "Jesus Jugs," which prompted a response from both Bellino and her husband Jim, in turn sparking threats of a lawsuit.
"Jesus Jugs doesn't just cross the line, it catapults over it. That comment has offended Christians everywhere," Bellino previously wrote in her Bravo TV blog post.
While the pair could barely stand to be in the same room last season, new footage from season eight shows Bellino gladly attending Barney's wedding dress fitting. Both women are said to be in a much better place this year.
Season eight airs April 1.
