'Real Housewives' Teresa Giudice 'Will Leave' Joe if Disrespect Continues, 'Humiliated' After Secret Call
"Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice has spoken out regarding her husband Joe's suspicious behavior that is seen on an upcoming episode of the hit Bravo reality TV show.
The 39-year-old mother of four questioned Joe about a phone call that he received while celebrating their co-star Caroline Manzo's 50th birthday, and he appeared to lie to his wife about who exactly he was speaking to. Prior to the confrontation, Joe was seen referring to his wife as a "b----" and a "c---" which she admits was hurtful.
"I can't defend him on this. I'm hurt by him and disappointed by him," Giudice told In Touch Magazine.
In the episode, Joe reportedly left the table to take a private phone call claiming that it was work-related, but viewers can hear a woman's voice on the other end saying "Hi Baby."
Shortly before Giudice confronted him, Joe was heard saying 'here comes my b---- wife ... she's such a c---," and Giudice recently admitted that such behavior could potentially end their marriage.
"I am not stupid," Giudice said adding that if Joe continues to humiliate her like this, "I will not be with him. I will totally leave him."
Joe, who is currently facing legal woes, is often criticized by viewers for disrespecting his wife on the hit show and Giudice claims that he is definitely not proud of his behavior.
"He was so ashamed and embarrassed. He was like, 'I can't believe I ever said that,'" Giudice said although she now refuses to accept the disrespect. "If this continues, I will leave."
While the vast majority of the couple's Bravo TV cast mates have respectfully stayed silent on their thoughts about the Giudices' marriage, Manzo recently suggested that they were headed for divorce.
"Prediction: Something may happen where someone has to go somewhere. Teresa's going to have to pull herself up on her bootstraps and take over. She'll say, 'You know what, I tried. I stood by him, but I have to divorce him now. And I'm gonna show my daughters what it's like to be strong and independent on your own and survive,'" Manzo said on the Bravo TV show.
