Just when Moriko Morioka has already given up on real life in favor of a less complicated MMO existence, fate pulls a fast one and brings an attractive man to her reality. Which existence will Moriko eventually choose on the romance-comedy anime series, "Recovery of an MMO Junkie"?
Moriko and Yuta Sakurai's first meeting may not be considered a romantic encounter by any means, but it did have a good potential to progress into something more. While on her way to the drugstore to buy some medicine for her cold, Moriko's world literally collided with Yuta's with an unintentional elbow blow to the forehead.
The man was responsible enough to take her to the hospital and even provided his phone number and e-mail in case any further concerns arose. And the encounter has so affected Moriko that she even began worrying about how she would look like should she and Yuta eventually go out on a date.

But all her worries are set aside as soon as she logs in to "Fruits de Mer," her current favorite RPG. In here, she is a handsome male fighter named Hayashi, who is continuously developing deeper feelings for the pretty female healer, Lily.
However, what she does not know is that Lily is none other than the bespectacled blond guy who took her to the hospital.
Fans are gradually warming up to this curious tale of romance about to two gamers who have no idea that they have actually met each other in person. What makes things complicated is that they are both using avatars that are the opposite of their real-world genders, which may cause them to further hesitate about confessing their true feelings.
