'Recovery of an MMO Junkie' Episode 4 Spoilers: Will Yuta and Moriko Ever Meet Again Outside of the Game World?

Although it has been believed that Lily's real-life counterpart is none other than Yuta Sakurai, there has been no actual confirmation of this yet. However, it seems that the identity of Moriko's in-game partner may finally be revealed beyond a doubt on the Japanese romance-comedy anime series, "Net-juu no Susume," also known as "Recovery of an MMO Junkie."

Ever since self-proclaimed elite NEET, Moriko, started playing the MMO game, "Fruits de Mer," she seemed to have found a new lease on life. On the other hand, this has also caused her to withdraw from her real life, except to occasionally go to the convenient store for food, drinks, and web money cards.

But it seems that her fate may soon take an unexpected turn after a blond guy accidentally elbowed her on the forehead while she was on her way to buy medicine for her colds.

Yuta is believed to be the player behind the pink-haired female conductor that Moriko's male knight character, Hayashi, has just partnered up with. And by the end of the previous episode, it was hinted that this may well be the truth.

Then again, what was the reason behind the surprised expression that the bespectacled convenience store staff, Fujimoto, had when he saw Moriko purchasing a web money card for "Fruits de Mer"? Could he also be part of Hayashi and Lily's very supportive guild?

The preview for the next episode titled "Like a Maiden in Love" teases more in-game interactions between Hayashi and Lily. However, it also seems that Moriko will also continue to keep her distance from Yuta, who has apparently taken quite an interest in her.

Will the two of them ever meet again outside of "Fruits de Mer"? Will Hayashi and Lily ever get the courage to reveal their true identities to each other and thus continue their budding romance in real life?

"Recovery of an MMO Junkie" airs on Mondays late night at 1:40 a.m. JST on Tokyo MX. Information on other broadcast schedules and online resources can be found on the series' official site. Episodes will also be simulcast in selected regions outside Japan via Crunchyroll.
