'Red Dead Redemption 2' Release Date, Rumors: Fans Are Finding Clues From Motion Capture Actors

If there is a fan base that is very good with investigating and scouring information within the internet, the huge crowd awaiting Rockstar Games' "Red Dead Redemption 2" is arguably one of the best there is. They are able to make connections from small clues, and everything makes perfect sense.

In a discussion over at NeoGAF, it looks like the community has figured out who's playing who. For starters, Matt Bradford has initially posted that he's doing the motion capture acting for Dutch, but it was taken down moments after. Another actor, in the person of Roger Grunwald, listed that he's going to be bringing the German psychiatrist Menchen to life, then suddenly it was also removed.

It looks like Rockstar Games doesn't want them to leak any information just yet, but the posts somehow confirm that the sequel may actually be a prequel, considering the fact that Dutch died in "Red Dead Redemption." The speculations don't end there.

A certain Roger Clark has been presumed to be the one responsible for the voice over of the game's first trailer, and judging from his previous work it does have some resemblance. To further add fuel to the fire, the community found out he liked a YouTube video pertaining to rumors about the game, and that's just hard to pass up as coincidence.

In the past, a certain leakster mentioned that there will be three playable characters in the upcoming installment, all of which are part of John's old gang, the Daily Star has learned. The catch, though, is that John won't be a part of it. By three individuals, he could be pointing out to Bill Williamson, Javier Escuella, and Dutch van der Linde, and the recent speculations are further connecting together.

It has been a long time since the trailer for the game has been released, and fans are still talking about it. This only shows how much it is being met with anticipation.

"Red Dead Redemption 2" is slated to hit PlayStation 4 (PS4) and Xbox One platforms by fall 2017.
