There were questions asking gamers "how much communication have you seen or heard about" the sequel or "how likely" they will purchase the game.
The survey has many under the impression that Rockstar is trying to discover what being tight-lipped about the project does to the hype of the game.
Media outlets believe that the developer could be thinking of ramping up their marketing efforts in promoting "Red Dead Redemption 2" since there has been radio silence after the reveal trailer last year.
The last time Rockstar teased it was when they released some screenshots from the game a few months ago. While the images kept fans busy scrutinizing every element they contained, many hope that new details or a brand-new trailer or gameplay footage could be out by now.
Gaming Bolt believes that it is high time for Rockstar to double down on promoting "Red Dead Redemption 2" although the site says it is understandable that they are not doing so since the game's release is still months away.
