Reese Witherspoon Baby Boy Tennessee James Arrives
Reese Witherspoon and her husband Jim Toth have welcomed their baby boy named Tennessee James on Thursday.
The child is the first for the couple, and Witherspoon's third child.
"Reese Witherspoon and husband Jim Toth welcomed Tennessee James into their family today," the star's representative told People magazine on Thursday. "Both mom and baby are healthy and the entire family is thrilled."
Baby Tennessee will join big sister Ava, 13, and brother Deacon, 8. The siblings are Witherspoon's children from her marriage to Ryan Philippe.
Married for over two years, Witherspoon and Toth kept their growing family a secret until the actress started showing a baby bump.
"Frankly, I'm feeling very round," Witherspoon finally admitted at the Cannes Film Festival in June.
It comes as no surprise that Reese and her husband are growing their family, as the actress admitted in a past interview that she would "love" to have more kids with Toth.
"I'd love that. I feel really good and I'm at a really good place in my life," Witherspoon revealed earlier this year when asked about more children, according to OK! Magazine.
Witherspoon added that she feels "really lucky" about her career and experimenting with different films, but always maintains a focus on her family.
"I think it's just a balance," she said of being a mom in Hollywood. "You know, every working mother has to balance work and the children and just enjoy it because it all goes very fast."
The busy mom did not let her recent pregnancy slow her down. Witherspoon is currently filming "Devil's Knot" alongside Colin Firth.
"It's about a crime that occurred in 1993," she told the Chicago Sun Times of the film in June. "It happened in Arkansas, and it's what I'd say is a very American story."
Filming will have to cease for just a bit, Witherspoon noted.
"I'm going to take a little time off, and go have a baby," said the actress.
