'Reign' Season 3 Spoilers: Mary Comes To Realization In 'Our Undoing;' Ep. 10 Details Revealed
When The CW's hit historical fantasy drama TV series "Reign" Season 3 returns to the small screen, fans will find out that Mary of Scotland will come to a realization that she has to forgo her own safety in order for her to ensure the future of her people. Meanwhile, details for an upcoming Season 3B episode were shared revealing the strife between Catherine and Narcisse in the bid for regency.
Citing the synopsis posted over at The Futon Critic, it was revealed that in "Our Undoing," Adelaide Kane's character must succumb to the idea of tying the knot with Don Carlos (Mark Ghanime) despite the fact that the Spaniard monarch is a masochist who finds pleasure in pain.
Mary and Catherine (Megan Follows) however, need to deal with a pressing problem first. Before the show went off air for the holidays, it was found out that Don Carlos met a tragic incident following a secret flogging session. What happened is that the prince fell and cracked his skull. He did survive but his fate is yet to be found out.
The summary from TFC said that Mary will realize that she will have to marry for the good of her country and not follow her heart. In another development, Catherine will also have to face with the accusation that he poisoned the late King Francis (Toby Regbo).
Lola (Anna Popplewell), on the other hand, will be astounded when she finds out that Mary suspects that Narcisse (Craig Parker) plans everything to axe out Catherine from the competition.
Meanwhile, the synopsis for the subsequent episode titled "Bruises That Lie," was shared at Carter Matt and it indicates that the Catherine versus Narcisse issue will continue to go through. Mary, on her part, will struggle when the matters of the heart comes into play.
"Reign" Season 3 airs Fridays at 8 p.m. on The CW.
