'Reign' Season 3 Spoilers: Mary Could Face Troubles with Spain
Mary could be facing some trouble with Spain in the upcoming episode of Reign" season 3.
It was reported that the new episode of "Reign" could be putting Mary in another unfortunate situation. There are hints that Spain will be bringing some trouble for Mary, on Don Carlos' account.
In the previous episode, Mary decided to acknowledge Don Carlos' intimate needs with the help of Catherine. While blindfolded, Don Carlos was laying in bed while Catherine helped Mary with the whip. However, he soon realized what they were doing and decided to leave. Upon leaving, he tripped and fell to his death.
In a new teaser trailer released by The CW, it showed that Don Carlos' accident at the French Court will send Spain after Mary. This will then force Catherine to take advantage of the situation by making it seem like Mary was the cause of the accident.
As she puts the blame on Mary, Spain will be angered at Mary, which will give Catherine a way to dispose of Mary from the French Court. There are speculations that the accident will be planned by Catherine herself, in order to get revenge for her son's death.
In addition, having Mary out of the French Court will allow Catherine to gain back power over it. Another scene from the trailer that proved this theory is when Mary was seen in a carriage. It is likely that Mary will be returning to Scotland because of the accident.
With Spain heavily involved in the upcoming episode, it was revealed by Carter Matt that viewers will finally get a chance to see what Spain's kingdom is like.
Titled "Our Undoing," the upcoming episode of "Reign" will be airing on The CW on Jan. 8.
